STANDARD INSURANCE COMPANY

The annual report of the directors of the Standard Insurance Company (Ltd.) states that the net income for the year ended June 30, 1926, amounts to £240,246 18s lOd, and the expenditure to £194,387 4s 6d, leaving a balance of £45,859 14s 4d, to which has to be added the balance from last year, £18,490 2s sd, making a total of £64,349 16s 9d, from which an interim dividend of Is 3d per share was paid in March last, leaving an available balance of £51,849 16s 9d, which the directors have dealt with in the following manner;—Placed to reserve fund, £21,500, and recommend the payment of a dividend of Is 3d per share, and to carry forward to next year £17,849 16s 9d.
