MEXICO CITY, August 10. The British Minister, Mr 10. Ovey, declined to discuss and rciused tq confirm or deny the report- that bo had made diplomatic representations to Mexico over the British-Moxican treaty of amity and commerce guaranteeing religious' ministers freedom to exercise their ministry in Mexico. The treaty expires in December. Mexico, months ago, said she would not renew it. ' It is unofficially understood that discussions between the two Governments over the renewal of tho treaty will probably be undertaken in Ijondnn between the Foreign Office and tho Mexican Minister. —Router.
