JAPANESE EARTHQUAKE
TOKIO SHAKEN LARGE AREA AFFECTED. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright, TOKIO, August 3. (Received August 4, at 10.25 a.m.) An unusually severe earthquake frightened Tokio, all the people running out of the buildings. Reports from various points show that a largo area was affected. A railway bridge which is being constructed in a Tokio suburb was damaged. Landslides are reported in Yokosuka, and telephonic communication has’ been upset temporarily.— Reuter.
