SITTING OF COMMISSION. OBJECT’S OUTLINED. Press Association —'By Telegraph—Copyright. Australian and N.Z. Press Association. SYDNEY, August 3. Mr J. M. Baddeloy (Minister of Labor) opened the first sitting of the Workers’ Compensation Commission. He said the object of the Commission was not to cripple industry, but so far as the employers and employees were concerned to further its interests and eliminate accident. The function of the Commission was to do all it could to further propaganda., so that instead of receiving compensation employers and employees would grapple with the problem of eliminating accidents.
