A BREACH 3F THE LAW [Pee United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, August 3. Charles William Matheson was fined £lO for counselling an, agent in the commission of an olteuce —namely, the of art union tickets after the date for closing the sale. The defence was that defendant instructed the agent to continue selling, believing that an extension would be granted. This had been the custom in previous art unions. Mr Page, S.M., declined to regard ihe case as one for a nominal penalty*
