AUSTRALIAN CRICKETERS
THE THIRD TEST WEATHER CONDITIONS UNCERTAIN Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, July 9. (Received July 10, at 10 a.m.) A heavy downpour of rain at Leeds occurred during the afternoon, and within an hour the ground was under water. The rain then ceased, and the water dried up rapidly. The pitch shows little sign or having suffered. If there is no more rain play will not be interfered with, and the groundsman says the pitch will be nearly perfect. The weather forecast shows that there is likely to he a few more days bright weather. Showers may come down from the north as far as Leeds, but thev are nothing to talk about.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
