FRANCO-BRITISH NEGOTIATIONS PROGRESSING FAVORABLY. Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, July 8. The ‘ Morning Post’s ’ diplomatic correspondent says that tho negotiations for the funding of France’s debt to England, which are being carried on by Mr*Churchill and M. Ponyanne, the French financial adviser in London, are progressing favorably on tho basis .of M. Caillaiix’s preliminary agreement in August—namely, annual payments of £12,500,000. M. Peret later accepted the principles of M. Caillaux’s agreement, so the present conversations are chiefly concerned with technical details. Before tho end of the month M. Caillaux should lie in a position io come to London to sign an agreement. —A. and N.Z. Cable.
