The Y. Entertainers of the Y.M.C.A. again visited the Benevolent Institution on Thursday evening and delighted the inmates and staff with a most interesting programme, as follows:—Songs by Mrs J. Seurr rod Mrs Bradley and Mr Swift; Miss Doreen M’Beath, ‘ Classic Dances ' : humorous recitations, Mr Hawkins; Mr J. Benfc!!, ‘ Polyphony Sketches ’; Messrs Reno and Bowles, 1 Patter Sketch.’ Mr J. Bowles as a character comedian caused much merriment. Mrs J. W. Scurr, through the generous gift of a friend, distributed bags of sweete to the old folk, Mr Portcous, the manager, in thanking the entertainers, said he hoped the party would soon return and cheer the old folks once af'in • MAN WHO SMOKES 45 PIPES.
