SAVOY MERRYMAKERS
This week is a dancing week. Many hundreds have already seen the incomparable Pavlova, and have lie on stirred by her magnificent artistry. Many ollicrs have read her views on dancing. Pavlova says: “ Remember that to dance is to keep young. There are thousands who would give all they possess for youth. J consider that youth is in the mind as much as in the body,, so if you make your feet follow vour thoughts you have clone something worth while. You are hunting happiness, and she is not such a difficult quarry if you go the right way io work. Don’t run alter her—just try merry, graceful dancing, and you may find that you have her for a partner.” Always "to he young; that should be■ the aim of us all. And, as madam© points out, the best way to ward off the years is to dance joy into your life. And now that such'wonderful opportunities are offered to dance in ideal surroundings and to a great hand there should ho'no excuse for those who have so far hesitated to do so any longer. The Savoy merrymakers’ dance to-night is one of these opportunities. The admission fee is half a, crown, the service and organisation generally are of the best, and the music is by tho Savoy Novelty Baud, which has been acclaimed the host in New Zealand. No other inducements hut these are surely needed.
