BOXING. MURRAY v. CHAMBERS. Two professional boxing contests will bo staged at His Majesty’s Theatre on Thursday night under the jurisdiction of the Otago Boxing Association. The preliminary ol ton rounds is between the local bantam champion, Tommy Griffiths, and Eddio Ross (fly-weight champion of Western Australia), who has been associated with the sport for the past eight years. Ross has many decisions to his credit over good boxing boys in Australia. Bocal boxing fans are interested over this pending clash. The star event of fifteen rounds between Billie Chambers (the Australian Iffiht-v,-eight champion) and our local Los Murray is sufficient to attract a large audience.
