FRANCE INCREASES LEVY IN FAVOR, OF ARGENTINE. Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright, Australian and N.Z. Press Association. MELBOURNE, June 14. (Received Juno 14, at 11.30 a.m.) Mr Bruce has been advised from London that the tax now levied on frozen meat imported by Franco will be increased from id to approximately Rl per lb in July next. This increase favors Argentina, which is under a reciprocal trade treaty with Franco, and pays only id per lb tax.
