PLUCKY BANK GIRL BOUND AND GAGGED. WINNIPEG, May 28. A bank robbery like a movie drama occurred at 3 o’clock this morning at Yorkton, a small town on the Saskatchewan, 100 miles from Regina. Miss Emma Lindohim, the bank cashier, was suddenly awakened by three men, who compelled her to walk in her night attire and unlock tno bank next door to her boarding-house. She had the keys of the door, hit stoutly declared that she did not know the safe combination. ■ They then bound and gagged her and threw her into a corner. They blew the safe, but failed to smash the lock, and, fearing interference following the explosion, lied. The building caught fire, find the girl nudged herself along the floor with her heels, dragging her body an inch at a time until sbe readied tbe door and rolled clown the front steps. Sbe was senseless when rescued. The budding was destroyed.
