ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS
TRAM AND MOTOR'COLLIDE. A collision between a tramcar and a motor car at a street intersection at New Plymouth resulted in serious injury to Mrs B. G. Elwin, of Puniho. The car was driven by Mr Elwiu, and also contained two small boys, who sustained minor injuries. Mrs Elwin was removed to the hospital. The exact nature of her injuries has not yet been ascertained.—Press Association telegram. BODY FOUND IN HARBOR. Tho body of Frederick Often, _ aged seventy years, was found in the Timaru Harbor to-day. The indications point to deceased having fallen in when collecting firewood. Press Association telegram.
