(Received June 10, at 12.30 p.m.) To-morrow will see the big diamond rush, when the new field at Blandsputto (Transvaal) will-be thrown open. Three weeks ago there were only a few shacks there. Since then the discovery of a number of valuable diamonds has attracted all classes, and 10,000 people are camped in the vicinity. Tho trains are crowded, and tho roads are crammed with all sorts of vehicles, bringing a further influx. Already 3,000 licenses have been issued. It is expected that this number will be largely increased when the race for claims starts.-—A. and N.Z. Cable.
