PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the control of the Waipon Falls Scenic Reserves, which comprise the whole of the bush-clad areas on both_ banks ot the Waipori River, has been \LSTED IN THE DUNEDIN CITY COUNCIL. It is intended to strictly enforce the provisions of the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, and its amendments, which provide, for a penalty of not exceeding £IOO on the conviction of any person for any of the following offences—viz.: (a) Lighting a. fire on a iconic reserve. (b) Cutting or removing any limber therefrom without the written authority of the Council. (c) Having in his possession or under his control or discharging any firearms while on any such land.
