(Received June 5, at 10.30 a.m.) The annual report of the Department of Mines for 1925 shows that the output for the year was valued at £19,109,000, constituting a record, being £186,000 in excess of the output in 192-1. Tho silver mines contributed chiefly fo this result. Their yield amounted to £6,343,000. an increase of £636,000 over the previous year. Tho coal won amounted to 11,396,000 tons, valued at £9,302,000, representing 222,000 tons and £287,000 in value less than in 1924.
