An Italian and a Frenchman about to fight a duel met at the railway station, on route for the appointed lield.
The Italian asked for a return ticket, but the Frenchman look only a single. “ Ha, you fear you will never como back! 1 always take a return,” said the former. “I never do,” retorted his adversary calmly. “ I always take my return half from the dead man.”
“ Bobbie,” said the woman in the tram, severely. “ why don’t you get up and give your seat to your father? Doesn't it pain you to see him reaching for the strap ?”_ “Not in the tram,” said Bobby; “it does at home.”
