The President hoped that other primary associations would take up this matter, as it was obviously to the advantage of basket ball in tho dominion that the same rules should bo played everywhere. Each centre had learned something about the game from the tournament. The value of such tournaments lay in tho spirit of friendliness between the girls oi different centres. The finances were in a healthy condition, there being a credit balance of about £93, and even after delegates’ expenses bad been paid tho association would he financially sound. Tho motion was seconded by Miss Armstrong and carried. A motion that the North Otago Union be granted affiliation was carried with acclamation.
