INTERRUPTED WEDDING
BRIDE ARRESTED. LONDON, February 27. The police, interrupted a wedding at the Bloomsbury Registry Office by arresting the bride, a Frenchwoman named Andrea Petitjcan, aged 20, on the charge of having falsely stated on her immigration papers that she would stay in England for only, a few diys. According to the police evidence, the woman picked up the bridegroom on Wednesday at a hostel ior unemployed, and gave him £2O to submit to the marriage ceremony. Tier object was to acquire domicile in Britain. Petitjean was convicted and recommended for deportation as an undesirable immigrant.
