LONDON, February 14. ' A message from Belfast reports that Cardinal O’Donnell, referring in his Lenten Pastoral to dancing, says: u When a. mother permits her daughter to go dancing, lot her have ns much Christian respect for herself as for them and provide the dose attendance of a capable female eompaniouj njul not leave them unshepherded in ways where the wolf may prowl in seeming innocence.”
So serious is the view of the bishops of Ireland on the dangers of dancing that they have ordered special instruction on the subject four times a year throughout the churches.— A. and N.Z. Cable,
