WEDDING.
A wedding of much local interest took place on Wednesday, when Miss Lorna Winifred Dick, youngest daughter of Air and Airs James 'Dick, Park street, Dunedin, was married to Dr Harry Solwyn Kcnrick, son of Air and Airs W. G. Kcnrick, of Rotorua, at First Church, the Rev. Dr Alcrrington officiating. Air Gordon Dick and Dr Trevor De Clive Lowe wore respectively best man and groomsman. Tbe bride looked charming in n handsome gown of ivory satin cßarmcuse, with diamond trimming, her train of Venetian lacc being caught up at the hack with a diamond buckle. The ,bridal vcfl was of embroidered, tulle, trimmed with Venetian lace, and arrayed with a coronet of orange blossom, the picture being completed by a beautiful sheaf of white roses. The two chief bridesmaids were Al.iss Betty Gilchrist and Miss Gwen Kenrick, their toilettes consisting of peach georgette over crone de chine, with silver trimming, and headdresses of silver bandeaux finished with roses, the bouquets being also of roses. There were, besides, two quite youthful little bridesmaids, Patricia and Pamela. Mills, whose taffeta frocks of peach color, silver hair bands, and rosehud posies completed the bridal array. After the ceremony a reception wa,s held at Somerset Lounge, when about seventy were present. These included Airs Dink, who wore a beautiful black brocade gown embroidered in gold, and a black velvet, hat trimmed with gold osprey, Airs Kcnrick, in handsome blue silk marocain with touches of black, and a blade hat trimmed with floral georgette; Air and Airs P. Dick, Air and Airs A. Gilchrist, Air and Airs Bray, Air and Airs F. Mitchell, Mr and Airs J. J. Clark, 'Air and Airs IL APKcdmic, Air and Airs E. Hocking, Air and Airs J. D. Al'Kechnie, Alesdames Trevor Mace (Hobart), A. R, W. Aides (Hobart), Russell Jones (Auckland), Spedding, sen., Air and Mrs Ewen Cameron, Air and Airs H. Barron, Aliases AI.
