ADELAIDE, January 8. (Deceived January 8, at 1.5 p.ni.) Several representatives of Itnglish firms have been instructed to cease buying apples until, further notice, presumably because of the recent arsenic sca.ro in Logici id. Growers and dealers in Australia are not likely to bo greatly affected, as most of the leading London buyers are already committed to the extent of their average season’s shipments, at Ids per case, including freight.
