SCHOOL VACATIONS

MAGANQREW ROAD Mr W. Wright (chairman of the School Committee) presided over the break-up ceremony of the Macandrew Hoad School. The infants met in the gymnasium on Wednesday afternoon in the presence of a good number of parents. After a musical programme was pone through the prizes were presented. The lower standards met on Thursday afternoon, and the higher standards in tho evening. At both functions a programme was provided and the prizes distributed. At tho different functions short addresses were given by the RevsT. A. Pvbus, A. C. H. Button, and W. Bramwell Scott. Altogether 260 attendance certificates wore distributed, also fifty-five proficiency and seven competency certificates. Prize list as under:—
