NEGLECTED MORNINGTON.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —I was very pleased to read of Councillor Hancock’s suggestion that tho long-noglcctod borougli of Mornington should bo catered for in the way of a bus service up Havelock street. I do not think there is a borough in and around town that has been so long neglected in the way of tram extension. The tram service, so iar as it goes, is good, but it does not go far enough to cope with tho traffic. One only requires to take a walk along Kenmure road and past the school, and turn on to Elgin road and right out to Lookout Point, to see vacant ground that would soon he built on if there wore some conveyance to take people to and from town. Hoping to sec Councillor Hancock’s proposal put into action very soon—l am, etc., I Neglected Mornington. 1 December 19.
