SURRENDER OP INTEREST. LONDON, December 5. The Chancellor of tho Exchequer, Mr Winston Churchill, announced today that tho head of the Scottish firm who, in 1920, surrendered the interest on its £IOO,OOO investment in war stock for five years would continue to surrender the interest for a further five years. Mr Churchill expressed the Government’s gratitude to the _ donors for their generosity and patriotism.
