CORPORATION NOTICES. DUNEDIN CITY COUNCIL. NOTICE RE MOTOR OMNIBUS STANDS. PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that (he Dunedin City Council, at a mooting held on Wednesday, the 16lh December, 1925, passed the following resolution respecting stands lor licensed omnibuses —viz.: — THAT, pursuant to Hie provisions of Section 603 of By-law No. 1 of the City of Dunedin, the Dunedin City Council hereby resolves as follows (a) That the present stand for licensed motor buses in Princes street, on the eastern side, south ot the Jetty street intersection, be and the same is hereby abolished. (b) That a stand for Brighton and Taicn Mouth buses only be and is hereby appointed on the eastern side ol Princes street, south of the Jetty street intersection, the first vehicle to'take up a position in line with the electric power and light pole dose to Speddiug’s Auction Rooms; the rank to extend in a northerly direction to a point not closer than 42ft to the Jetty street intersection; all buses on the rank to face in a southerly direction, and stand one behind the other close alongside and parallel with the kerb, and no bus lo remain on the rank for a longer period at any one lime than thirty minutes. (c) That a stand for all licensed motor buses plying to and from the Otago Peninsula be and is hereby appointed on the eastern side of High afreet abutting on the Queen’s Gardens, the first vehicle on the stand to take up a position thirty feet, north-east of the Crawford street intersection; the rank to extend in a northerly direction to a point twenty feet south-west of the Cumberland street intersection; all buses on the rank to face in a southcily direction, and stand one behind (he other close to and parallel with Iho kerb, and no bus to remain on the lank for a longer period at any one time than thirty minutes. (d) That such portion of the stand for licensed motor buses on the western side of Cumberland street, adjacent to Ihe Queen’s Gardens as is situate in the centre of the street, be and the same is hereby abolished. (e) That the existing stand for licensed motor buses on the western side of Cumberland street be extended so that the vehicles may rank in line alongside the kerb from a point at the northern end of the Queen’s Gardens, and extending in a southerly direction as far as Die Rattray street junction, all vehicles io face in a northerly direction, and stand parallel with the kerb, and no Ims lo remain on the stand for a longer period at any one time Ilian thirty minutes.
