BOLSHEVIST .MOTIVES DISCLAIMED.

Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright

LONDON, .December 16

The extremists among the Irish police strikers are holding out against Sir James Craig's offer, but a conference is likely to take place. Many superior officers are still detained by the strikers under open arrest. The strikers at the borne depots erected barricades fearing an armed attack. They protest that they are not swayed by Bolshevist motives.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
