[Thomas Lister, the fourth Baron Ribblesdale, was born on October 29. 1854, at Fontainebleau. He was sub-lieutenant of the 64th Regiment in 1873, lieutenant of the Rifle Brigade 1874, aud retired with tho rank of major in 1886. ' He was Lord-in-Wait-ing from 1880 to 1885, and was Master of Buckhounds from 1892 to 1895. He was married twice, but leaves no son.]
