A number of promotions in the Lauds and Survey Department arc announced. Two of them are incidental to the creation of new positions at the bead oiiice. A Jr W’. Gambnli succeeds Mr MaeCormick as senior clerk; Air I- . -I. tnunn, assistant acixuntant at head ollico, has been ap.« .intru in--.pec.or, Air W. E. Sha-v, accountant at Cliristchunm. snccee.is for Quinn at head oflico; Mr T. Tudohopc, Chief Clerk and Receiver of I.ami Revenue at New Plymouth, is promoted to the same position at Auckland; Mr J. A. Redman, senior clerk, Auckland, succeeds Mr Tiulehope, at No-v Plymouth,—Press Association.
