BRITAIN AND SOVIET
DISLOYAL LEGISLATORS. PRAISE FOR RUSSIAN METHODS. LONDON, September 19. Anti-British sentiment continues to dominate the speeches of the Labor members of the House of Commons who are making a Soviet-conducted tour of Russia, 1 says the Riga correspondent of ‘ The Times.’ According to the Soviet Press, the leader, Mr R. 0. Wallhead, M.P. for Merthyr, told the Central Soviet Executive that the British parliamentary system was becoming obsolete, and would havo to be scrapped and the Soviet pattern substituted. He admitted that Russian methods, perhaps, were not wholly adaptable to Britain, but the time was coming when real Socialism would be established, and then the two Governments could work together for vhe regeneration of the world. , , . Mr Wallliead' repeated Ins previous assurance that the British Labor Party intended to bring pressure to bear on Mr Baldwin to conclude a real trade treaty between Britain and the Soviet.
