EUCHRE

The Square Deal Assembly has taken strict measures to keep intoxicated persons away from their euchre evenings in the isonth Dunedin Town Hall, and was rewarded with a splendid attendance of ladies on Tuesday night, having to call on some of the ladies to play as gents. A special prize was given for these ladies, and was won by Mrs Milward. Another valuable list of prizes (advertised in this issue) is to be given for to-morrow. A special prize will be given to lady playing as gent. Exhibition Euchre Assembly at the Waratah Tea Rooms to-night.
