ANOTHER SHUNTING MISHAP. An Auckland message states that W. J- B. Bright was shunting two wagons into a shed at Auckland station, riding on the first one. After applying the brakes ho evidently slipped and fell between the wagon and the shed platform. He was admitted to the hospital suffering from severe injuries to the_ lower part of the body, and his condition is critical, PROGRESSING SLOWLY. Ernest Davis, who was injured the other day through falling on the steamer Marama at Port Chalmers, has regained consciousness at the Cottage Hospital, and is progressing slowly.
