(Received September 19, at 10 a.m.) The fire at Mount Morgan mine is still raging fiercely. It has been found necessary to withdraw all the men from the mine and to concentrate on extinguishing the flames from the open cut. On the recommendation of the company’s officials and the Government inspectors 'it has been decided to flood the mine to the 450 ft level.
