UNEMPLOYED IN NEW SOUTH WALES. v Frees Association-By Telegraph— Oopyrigh* Australian and N.Z. Press Association. SYDNEY, September 19. (Received September 19, at 10 a.m.) According to a statement issued by the Labor Department, the number of unemployed at the end of August in the metropolitan area amounted to 65.000, and in the country districts to 2.000. These figures are exclusive of those affected by tiie shipping strike.
