Stent; starter, Mr J. Gordon; referee, Mr David Ross; judges of running—Messrs R. MHntosh, GI M'Laren, A. M'Kean, I. Day, and J. I Purvis; judges of hammer, ball, and | caber events —Messrs J. Black, W. B. j Brunton, W. Wilson, R. Galloway, and R. Cameron; judges of jumping— Messrs George Roberts, W. M'Kenney, D. J. Ross, and D. Dreaver; judge of wrestling, Mr Murray Cameron; judges of cycling—Messrs A. Fleming, J. S. Miller, J. Moodio, J. Anderson, A. Fraser, and C- Smith; judges or children’s events—Messrs W. Pittaway, L. Barclay, H. Sbeat, F. Campbell, D. Kennedy, and W. Freeland. Stewards were also appointed for tho various events. It was decided to hold the annual sports on December 31. It was decided to make application for the championships for tiio South Island for the field events. The membership fee was reduced to ss.
