September 14, (Received September 14, at 11.30 a.m.) There was a large gathering at a pilgrimage to the Rev. Samuel liars den’s tomb, in St. John’s Cemetery, Parramatta, in connection with tho Church Missionary Society’s centenary celebrations. Bishop Taylor Smith, of South Africa, in the course of an address, said that no arithmetic had yet been written that could truly estimate the value of a good man. Marsdon was great because he was good. His greatest work was pioneering missionary work in New Zealand. Marsdeu from being a man of purpose became a man of power. Nothing daunted him.
