The Waikato Hunt Club has received a telegram from the Minister of internal Affairs to the effect that in view of the nature of the report of the Inspection Committee he is unable to grant the chib permission to hold a race meeting at Claudolands, as the course is considered unsafe. —Cambridge Press Association telegram.
