The end of the carnival now being hold in His Majesty's Theatre for the purpose of procuring the moans necessary to erect a suitable residence for the Dominican Nuns at North-cast Valley is now at bund, its dose being announced tor this evening. A. matinee was held ibis afternoon _ when the pupils of Madame Martinelli lloggnrdio and those of Miss .Moira Couglin, together with the Dominican Convent Orchestra, presented an exceedingly delectable programme which was thoroughly enjoyed by all present. Tonight, ; '.M'exieano,’ ' the spectacular revue, produced by Mr F. Tleade auchop, will be put on for the last time, as will also the dainty wait/, ‘ Havana, a fine display of spectacular dancing by Air F. Rcade Wanehop and Miss itchy Wilding. The season lias been rnosi. successful throughout, the promoters having every reason to he well sntk-T.ed wilh the return for the great efforts expended.
