CONGRESS IN ENGLAND. TRADE WITH RUSSIA. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, September 10. The Trade Union Congress passed a resolution expressing disappointment that tho Russian textile machinery delegation had failed to place the bulk of its order owing to the British banks refusing credit facilities, and urging the Government to secure tho orders and also to extend tho Trade Facilities Act to Russia. A resolution was carried demanding that the Government should exempt troops from participation in industrial disputes.—Sydney ‘Sun ’ Cable.
