THE 'SPORTS SPECIAL ’
TO-MORROW'S FEATURES Some important Rugby matches to-morrow will lend special interest to the ‘Sports Special.’ Locally, Otago and Southland, always close rivals, meet at Carisbrook, and a very fast and interesting match is expected, whose incidents and strategy will be fully recorded. Then, again, the issue of the New South Wales team’s first match in New Zealand, against’ WellingtonManawatu, will be eagerly awaited, as giving us a clue at least to the strength of the visiting side. Local Soccer fans will have their special titbit in the meeting of Seacliff and Old Boys at Culling Park. The issue will also contain a full record of the day’s racing—the fleet races at Wellington and the fleet trots at Auckland —together with the usual assortment of notes and comments, special sporting articles, cartoon, and caricatures.
