| At the Y.M.C.A. last night Dr Kowlands delivered a lecture to young men under Y.M.C.A. auspices on the subject of 1 Homebuilding,’ this being ono of the series on the subject. Mr V. T. Drew presided and introduced the lecturer, who stated that the subject ho wished to speak on was 1 What a Young Man Should Know.’ The lecturer dwelt on the necessity of a young man keeping himself free from contamination. He dealt at length with the physical aspect of marriage, and made special reference to the alterations, physical and mental, which the vicissitudes of married life brought upon the female partner. He then passed on to speak of the part which a father should play in instructing his boys as they developed.
