OTAGO v. SOUTHLAND. The representative match between Otago and Southland will be played at Carisbrook on Saturday, when a firstclass game of Rugby football should bo witnessed. The Southlanders have a fine all-round team, and can be relied upon to give a good exhibition of back and forward play.. The Otago team are also expected to give a good account of themselves, and they will no doubt bo anxious to avenge their del eat at Invercargill last month. As a curtain-raiser the final for i he second grade competition between Port Chalmers and Training College will be played, and this should also provide a closely-contested game. The box plan is now open at The Bristol, and ground tickets will be obtainable at the Sports Depot and S. Jacobs’s.
