SERVED AT WESTMINSTER LABOR MEMBER’S HOPES. LONDON. August 6. Scottish members of tlie House of Commons have persuaded the Kitchen Committee to consent, to serve porridge in the tea room at night. Mr D. Kirkwood (Labor) has been detailed to secure the best recipe obtainable in Scotland, as well as proper cooking utensils. It is stated by Mr Kirkwood that members of his party from the North, when fortified by porridge, will be able to stand the strain of all-night sit* tings.
