The following gives the official range of prices Cross-bred fine, 10§d to 12d; cross-bred medium, 7jd to 12d; pieces and bellies, 5Jd to 9d; locks and stained pieces, 4d to 7.}d; crutchings (superior), 9id to I0Jd; crutchings (medium to good), 6Jd to 9]d; crutchings (seedy and inferior), 4d to 6£d; lambs, od to 14d; dead, 4|d to 11-id".
