DANGEROUS CORNERS.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir. —'The City Council is to he con*, gratulated on clearing away the plantation in Anderson’s Bay road, so that all vehicles can have a clear view of the road, and thus lessen the risk of accidents. This is an example which could be well followed by the St. Kilda Methodist Church in regard to the corner of its property on Queen’s drive. Tha hedge should bo removed, and, if necessary, smaller ornamental trees planted or a grass plot left on the corner. Some day there will he an accident at this corner unless the church authorities make it clear to all vehicle traffic. Some time ago there was an attempt made to sell this awkward corner to the council, but this is not necessary, as all that needs to be done can be done by the church. The A. and P. Association has consented to the removal of an awkward corner at Tahuna Park; surely the church authorities i will take some action with its corner in Queen s drive in the interests of the boys and girls ox the district. —I am, etc., Bowen Street. August 18.
