The Federal Government has decided to withdraw its offer of a reward or a bonus of £50,000 for the discovery ol oil in commercial quantities in Australia, and to authorise the expenditure ot £50,000 in certain areas of New South Wales, Western Australia, and Queensland in which it is advised that there is a reasonable chance of findmg oil.
