TO-MORROW’S CHANGE
‘So Big,’ Colleen Moore’s latest vehicle, will ho finally _ presented at the Empire Theatre to-night. The main item on the now programme which commences to-monon will bo ‘The Last of tho Duanes,’ Tom Mix’s latest picture. This production, with the famous William Fox star, is a picturisation of Znne Grey s tale or tho same name, with scones laid in Texas in the days of border outlawry. Tom Mix never has been seen to better advantage in a Western character role than in his portrayal or Buck Duane, son of a feudist. Tins young Texan refuses to fight until forced to kill a man in sell-defence. Ho then becomes an outlaw, until, through the love of a girl, he receives a pardon on condition that he helps to capture a leading band of rattle thieves. Marian Nixon; ns tho girl, is line. Tom Mix should keep this loading lady in ins pictures, for she is a splendid -complement to the W estern star. Another excellent musical profrrainme will be played hy the Empire Theatre.
