LADIE’S HOCKEY

The weekly meeting of the executive of the Otago Ladies’ Hockey Association was held last evening, when there were present Mrs G. A. Nelson;(in the chair), Misses White, Campbell, Adams, Anderson, Turner, and Hill. A letter was received from one of the delegates in Wellington, Miss Yorston, advising that as yet no further meeting had been hold by tho New Zealand Executive, and the secretary was instructed to write to the New Zealand secretary to inquire when it was intended to hold the meeting at which arrangements were to bo made for the holding of tho New Zealand tournament. A letter was received from the Southland Ladies’ Hockey Association inviting the Otago Association to send down a representative team early in August. —lt was decided that arrangements for sending a team should bo hold over until advice is received from Wellington as to when and where the New Zealand tournament is to be held. The following is the draw for next Saturday’s matches; — —A Grade. — Training College I. v. University, on Oval No. 1 (Mr H. J. Smith); Otago v. Momona, on Oval No. 2 (Mr R. S. Wallace); Training College 11., a bye. —B Grade. — —First section: Technical Old Girls I. v. Otago 1., on Domain, St. Hilda (Mr D. Miller); Triangle I. v. Ravensbourne, on Jubilee No. 2 (Mr 0. Henty); Technical Old Girls 11. v. Kaikorai, on Oval No. 2, at 1.30 p.m. (Mr L. Fogo) j Training College L, a bye. Second section: Tnlen v. Waiata, at Mosgiel (Miss Hanlin); University v.
