" J.W.’’— Messrs Green, of Blackball, owned a ship named the Result, and this vessel on her maiden trip to Sydney in the year 1858 passed Capo Otway on the fifty-ninth day out. If she had been going to Melbourne sho would have put up a record. The Result was burnt alongside the Sanclridge Railway pier, Melbourne, on October U, 1566.
