PROPERTY SALE. Messrs Park, Reynolds, Ltd, offered by auction to-day (mi account of Messrs M'Gavin and Co., Ltd.) parts of sections 26-27, block -'LI, Dunedin, corner of King and Duke streets, with double-story brick building (formerly the Great Northern Hotel). Ridding started at £I,OOO and quickly rose to £2,200, at which sum it was knocked down to Airs Lucy Winter. WHEAT PRODUCTION. The production of wheat in Italy is officially estimated at C 1.000.000 quintals, which is 15,000,000 above last year’s yield.—Reuter. PARIS. June 28. Messrs Dalgely and Co,, Ltd., report as follows : Oats.—Very little business is passing in* this market, bind values have not altered. A grades arc nominally worth 3s 6d per bushel, on (nicks. Wheat.—The quantity left in growers’ bands must bo very small, and in view of the expected early arrival of shipments of Australian wheat millers are, not keen buyers of the local cereal. Potatoes,—The quantity in stoic is sufficient to fill the small demand. Choice lines are realising up to £4 15s per ton, but lines showing signs of blight or frostarc neglected. Chat!.—Heavy consignments arc still arriving, and the market is now over-sup-plied. Owing to the comparatively small number of buyers now available it is: extremely difficult to effect sales cx truck, and consequently the bulk of consignments have, to be taken into store. Prime qualify chaff is realising from £5 to £5 5s per ton, but medium and discolored quality is unsaleable. The National Mortgage and Agency Company has received the following cable- from A. J.
